Byron Buxton went on absolute rampage in this one, going 5-5 with two doubles and a leadoff homer that set the tone for Minnesota’s 10-2 romp. For all of that hitting, he only was credited with one RBI and two runs scored (the latter a chore to tally given the Project Scoresheet format). The Twins added five other homers, including a pair from Mitch Garver and one from Josh Donaldson that came back-to-back with Buxton’s leadoff shot. JA Happ went seven innings, holding the Indians to four hits and one walk with both runs scoring thanks largely to Amed Rosario, who homered in the second and doubled and scored in the fifth.
